Stoneybatter

We have been granted planning permission for a new restaurant at ground floor with dual aspect apartments on the upper levels. Enabling works on this commenced recently. In summer of 2017 we created a pop-up Festival Office for the inaugural Stoneybatter Festival which provided a great focal point for the community and put the building to temporary use.

Why are so many of our city buildings empty on upper floors ? Is it time to start permitting more cross floor living over shared buildings as happens in other bustling cities ? The footprints of single buildings are often too small to provide residential apartments that our citizens would want to spend their life in.

Refurbishment of a protected structure in the heart of the Liberties and close to the new Pearse Lyons Whiskey Distillery and the soon to be developed Roe and Coe Whiskey distillery. This is the heart of former industrial Dublin.
