Hamilton Street

Granted permission for multi-unit living we set about reimagining the house in a way that this generations citizens of Dublin would want to live. Creating two large apartments within the house to give a sense of comfort and home yet in the context of a ‘shared’ house. Quality division of our period homes is one answer to providing higher density under the careful direction of architects.

Multiple apartments to a high spatial and construction standard within our existing period building stock is both desirable and sustainable on a personal and a city level bringing ideas common in London to our own stock of buildings. It's not about bedsits per se - it is about quality and generous space within already existing buildings. Not everyone needs three bedrooms and a back garden. Today's families are highly varied.
